Not that i actually watch to much, but in the new year i will be getting a new one. Technology moves so fast, what was great last year is deemed **** now by some. I'm not really that arsed, as long as it looks good and ticks all the boxes for a casual user. I'm kinda swayed towards this please log in to view this image ****, ok or good?
I can’t see the image. I would just say that if you are even thinking of getting Now Tv ( look it up ) be very careful what tv you go for . Currently it is only supported by LG. And Samsung tv’s .
Type in model of TV into google add the word review and this will tell you how good they are with people who own them
#seasonover for curved TVs, so if you're not really into that then save yourself the bother https://www.tomsguide.com/us/tv-buying-guide,review-1943.html
2 good posts. Find a model that suits you then use a price comparison site to find the best price for it. https://pricespy.co.uk for example.
Be warned with curved TVs as they are designing to be watched from the sweet spot straight in front of it - that is also their big positive as well. https://www.trustedreviews.com/opinion/curved-tvs-the-pros-and-cons-2912678
Yeh, a friend with a big family got one of those curved tv's and is furious with himself for that very reason. Worst buy he's ever made he said.
Ive heard curved Tvs are shyte aswell. Most of the big companies have stopped making them now due to them being a total flop.
Spent the money on a flight to somewhere exciting instead. Much more interesting than the ****e that is on the tele.
IMO is not worth the hassle in the long run - with a normal TV you can put it anywhere including on the wall while with the curved on it has to be on a stand and you have to be seated in the right position to get the most out of it.
I don't know anyone who just watches what is on TV at the time - even my grandmother knows how sky+ works and records shows to watch when she wants.
If your seating is directly in front of it then that is the major problem sorted then. Personally I like changing up my lounge every couple of years so having a curved screen would limit me a lot - if you don't do that then the only reason not to get one if you get a good price.
I'll do some shopping around, but i do like the look of the curved, plus the amount of tv i actually watch is very small.
Did you see my post about now tv ? It’s a box of tricks that lets you watch sky without a subscription . You can buy day passes or weekly etc . Currently you have to have LG or Panasonic . I still have not seen the tv you are on about ? May have missed it though .
