Matt Spiro @mattspiro Very worrying reports emerging that a small aircraft carrying two people, including new Cardiff signing Emiliano Sala, has disappeared. The plane left Nantes for Cardiff last night and disappeared whilst crossing the Channel. Rescue operations have been underway during the night.
There's no way he'll be found alive, something goes wrong at 2500 feet over water and there can't be much chance. What a horrible thing to happen for all involved.
The search and rescue team called off their operation at 2am due to dangerous winds/weather and worsening sea conditions.
Didn't he think of himself and **** the right thing to do. Won't go down with some of the ****s on here. Well played Mr Collins.
I did a double take and checked other places for confirmation that it was true - I guess its easier for an old pro who has earnt good money for years to tear a short-term contract up; whatever the circumstances though, it's still a classy move by the guy.
If Leeds do sign Daniel James from Swansea will we be entitled to a % of the fee? edit...just found this: That figure is set by a tariff based on the number of years a youngster has spent at a given club and would rise sharply if James was to break through into senior football. Every 10 Premier League games he plays for Swansea, for example, would net City a windfall of £150,000. Swansea fooked that up getting relegated!
