Search suspended . Guernsey Police said there was "no trace" of the Cardiff-bound flight and has suspended the search for the night. "We have found no signs of those on board," the force tweeted. "If they did land on the water, the chances of survival are at this stage, unfortunately, slim."
Was the report they found debris correct? If so, then they know the search radius & that makes this a recovery mission. So surreal. Can't imagine what the families are going through.
All us footie fans are desperately worried about our various teams Premier league status, but something like the news today really puts it all back into perspective? Very, very sad news.
Apropos nothing, I noticed in the match stats for this weekend's games that Saints are far and away the biggest receivers of red and yellow cards this season. Not many teams came close to our 3 reds and (I think) 36 yellows. Closest was Man U.
And we have been harshly dealt with on many occasions. Some of the yellows we have picked up this season, have been the first opportunity from the ref. Quite a few games have passed with the opposition getting away with two or three challenges, then suddenly out comes the yellow for one of ours. Been quite surprised on a few occasions. Its hard to complain about some of the cards we've received, like PEH one against City, but when you see the same challenge in the next match with just a free kick issued, it does make you wonder. I'm trying not to be paranoid. But I knew we'd be top or there about's in that table.
God almighty. It’s one thing dying at sea after your aircraft failed but it’s quite another to suspect it was going to happen and live through the hell and the stress of your worst fears being confirmed.
I wonder if he sent that message prior to take off? If he did then you have to wonder why he got on the plane/it was allowed to take off. I'm assuming that he sent it in mid flight
Still really surprised that they were flying him over in a single-engine light, piston-driven aircraft.
