Pub for Pie and Steak

I went to The Cheshire Grill last week. It came highly recommended & is very good at publicity.

It was bang average.

 

I shouldn't have read that thread when I was hungry.

 

I was meant to be taking my dad out for a birthday meal. He insisted he wanted a good quality pie in a pub.

He's now informed me he wants to go to Chamas in Beverley. But keep the recommendations coming.

Think I might try Blacksmiths at Coniston. I went a few months back and enjoyed it but they screwed up the kids meals but I'll give them another go.

Has anyone tried Stag at Lelley recently ?
