New badge revealed early next month

We're not TWS or Liverpool, we're Hull City A.F.C. If they want to lose their identity that's their problem, why should we go along the same route?

 

We had 71 years before AFC appeared on our shirts and seemed to manage.

I tend to agree with this.

But in accordance with his previous twisted logic, and in the absence of 'AFC', won't Allam senior wonder if 'Hull City' refers to the football club or the council ?

 

Somebody tell him it stands for 'Allam's Football Club', he'll instigate its introduction within 24 hours!

I have replied with 'Hull City Association Football Club' on a fair few occasions

 

It's better than the current badge, and that in itself is a bloody miracle from these serial ****-up merchants.

But it was still our name.

 

I have found the same with Mackems. They often say they support Sunderland Association Football Club. Really.

 

It's not bad, can't believe it has taken that long to come up with the design though. A one day in a room would be enough time,

Anyhow at least it's got our name on it, which bearing in mind who it had to get it passed, is a massive victory for the supporters, even though AFC was missed off.

 

The badge was sorted out on day one. The rest of the year was sorting out the compromise regarding the name on the badge.

If we were a new club, starting from scratch, then yes, it's ok. Could be better, but it's ok.
But we are not.
There was absolutely no need for the Allam twats to meddle with our name or crest in the first place.
Hopefully as soon as a new owner comes in, which doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon (£50m ffs), one of the first things they should do is put things back to how they were before the Allams darkened 'our' club's door ..... along with re-instate concessions, scrap the concert style pricing, return the arena to community use, build bridges with the council, take the fencing down, ........ Busy first 24 hours for the new owner.

How on earth that got altered to bane is a mystery. Unless I pressed the b instead of the n.

 

I much prefer the crest in your avatar but the new one is an improvement on 1 904

I guess this is their consultation with fans box ticked as well and will be referred to whenever somebody says they don't listen
to the views of the supporters

 

It's got everything on it I'd expect to see.
