Hmmmm. Very patchy player, falling victim to the hype machine. Wouldn't be a bad signing mind, scored a cracking goal against Israel U21s, there are just others I'd rather see.

 

I'd have thought he would be someone we may have been interested in. My mate is a Watford season ticket holder and raves about him. From what my mate says about Watford though I'd be surprised if they could afford to turn down a decent offer.

 

Must admit, I'd not heard a thing about him until I saw the U21 highlights, and his goal. That ball was shifting..!

 

Marv is great on his day, but he still has a fair few off days. As you can see by our goal rate this season, he hasn't been exactly prolific so far...but for the right money and the right club, I can see him moving by the start of next season.

Most of what's printed in the papers is rubbish, but even if true a lot of things can change between now and January.

 

We won't get him, this is what will happen.....

We will bid 4million.
Watford will reject 4million.
Leicester will come in and offer 5million.
We will possibly offer 5.5million.
Watford will accept our new offer.
Leicester won't like this as they want every striker it seems.
Leicester will offer 7million.
Watford will accept.
Sordell will still end up staying at Watford after all that as it all took so long.

 

not really, just being honest. But, he'll be a good one for the future, that's for sure.

dont worry im sure you guys will be our usual bogey team this year, although watford too be warned - we havent got paul wotton taking our penalties anymore!

 

As we keep breaking with tradition, it's hard to guess who is our bogey team at the moment. Could be ManU as they were the last team we lost to at St Marys in a competitive match

 

We have a big Not606 contingent coming to the Southampton away game on 1 October so i hope you're right...though i suspect this season isn't going to be typical for us...so we might not see another 0-3 ...

Rather spend 3-4 mil on him than 6 or 7 on Maynard or Rodriguez.
