I’m no expert on book pricing, and maybe you’d benefit from speaking to someone like OLM’s lad did who does know to maximise sales and income, but you’d get £20 off me for sure

"A number of contributors to the book would only speak to me on the condition that the book had nothing to do with the club on an official basis".

    Speaks volumes.

I've got a lot of books to read on my list but I'll definitely get around to reading one of yours at some point

If it's as weighty as you suggest and in hardback I'd pay around £25, paperback I think I'd want to pay around £15.

I don’t care what the cover is but I just want it as cheaply as possible, and then I’ll probably buy the Chinese copy on eBay and moan when it’s below par, then buy the real thing anyway.

Thanks for the feedback, guys, and the positive comments. The price will it seems be dictated by Amazon to some extent, but I'll try to keep it round the £20 mark. I will re-emphasise that any money it does make will go straight to Dove House Hospice, so if it does have to be nudged above that level it'll be for an excellent cause.

I'll keep everyone updated on here as it when it will be available.

**** it Rich. Even if it's £50 I'll be buying it. It's just that at £20-25 I could fill a Christmas stockings, birthdays and that.

I buy a fair amount of books and the average price for most these days is around the £10 mark (paperback), hardback usually charges considerably more.

You could meet in the middle at £15, but i'm sure the target market for your book will absolutely be willing to pay the £20.

More than happy to pay £20 plus get my old man a copy for £20.

Love the idea of the book, as I am one of those who has grown disillusioned due to the Allams but even now I look back to that game at Yeovil or the day at Wembley and I get emotional. That's the joy of supporting your local club.

You'll have to ask RichardG. I know I won't be buying mine from there.
