How dare you sir!? My wits aren't dim. I never blamed Arsenal fans for the comparisons, I just said they were there, just like on BBC 606. So wind your green froggy neck back in!

I don't need statistics to prove that I am better than Fabregas. I just am. Prove me wrong, garlic-lover!

It's similar to 606 because Arsenal fan's haven't been banned like i suggested at the start.
A decent debate gets going then an Arsenal fan makes a ridiculous infuriating claim and refuses to listen to logic and reason.

He's been brought up under a manager who thinks none of his players can do any wrong so he's bound to be an immature prat.

Now kids, lets all be calm. We don't want to get modded...

You can't (rationally) deny that Fabregas is a quality player. Certainly one of the most skillful in the Prem, but I'm not sure he's the best. To me he still lacks mental toughness and a willingness to fight for games. Apart from last season against Barca, when he basically did all the work himself and got injured as a result, I haven't seen any evidence he can inspire his team a la Keane vs Juventus and Gerrard in the 2006 FA Cup.

That's probably the case, but whereas Rooney seems to be getting better at channelling his passion into his performance, Fabregas seems to be getting worse each season, spending more time arguing and whining, and getting more of the wrong kind of column inches as a result. Surely that must be a concern for Arsenal fans? You don't want him going the same way as Gallas...

Btw, I just noticed that Arsenal players are the only ones on Sikipedia who have all their assists per season listed as well as the goals. Some sad Gooner obviously has a bit too much time on his hands...and has Squillaci really never made a single assist in a 14 year career?!?

Considering Mason gifted Birmingham a goal against Man Utd and then bottled the decision to mention Cesc, maybe he's a gooner? After all this is how you Arsenal fans think.

He has done it a lot actually, although the only high profile game he has done it in would be the recent chelsea one. If you look at last year he carried us through many games (stoke away etc) in the run in and has also saved us in the f.a cup a few times this season.

It depends how far Fabregas goes with it, I think at the moment he's acting perfectly fine apart from maybe abit of card waving, he's showing he's not gonna take all the **** an can and will fight back, against stupid decisions, players rough treatment etc that, along with other players doing similar things have certainly shown this season with abit of a mean streak that we've been lacking, and leading to us drawing/winning games we would of crumbled in before.

If he keeps it to the aggressive, fight back if something is wrong kind of thing i see no problem in it, and i see that is mainly what he's doing, as opposed to the waaaaa its not faaiiirrr blaahh ****e from gallas.

Maybe, but I'm not sure that shouting at the ref in the tunnel at half time is a constructive channelling of aggression. Also, for that sort of thing to work you need some senior pros around who can step in and keep your head in the game. When Rooney or Rafael or Nani go off on one for Utd, they have Rio, Scholes and Giggs around to keep them focused. Not sure if Arsenal have any players who can do that. Look at Abou Diaby today - sent off for the most stupid of offences. I'm guessing he's been kicked all over the park by Barton, but surely someone should have put an arm round him in the dressing room at half time and told him to keep his head straight and not put the three points in danger. Cos he's basically turned certain victory into a draw for you today. Not the best way to channel his aggression...
