Even if we lose, it still won't be as bad as losing 3-0 to Kazakhstan <laugh>

Hope Sancho starts. And Ward-Prowse and Hudson-Odoi get some time.

Decent stuff in that first half, we deserve to lead.

    Wasn't a pen though.

Decent first half against a very defensive side, it could do with a few more shots, they are not giving us much room to play when in the last third but once we speed up the play we create the chances. Second half 2.0 down they should come at us more if they are good enough and leave gaps at the back.

A difficult one for the ref though. I can see how he'd give that.

The fact Hudson-Odoi is making his England debut before his first Chelsea start in the PL says how ****ing stupid Chelsea is to not give him a go.

Nice seeing multiple members of those U17 and U20 World Cup winning sides now playing for the senior side.

Even more stupid having failed to tie him down to a contract. Are the Allams involved at Chelsea?

Really hope he goes to Bayern, seeing how much Sancho has grown.

Great to enjoy watching us play again and seeing us have an actual style of play. A long long time since we have had that rather than just shoving the best 11 together and hoping.

I kind of miss England being ****, and having about 3 or 4 players across the squad to bitch and moan about, that game under previous numptie managers we'd maybe have scraped an undeserved win late on or drawn a dull nil nil **** show, but that, frig me, an utter destruction. A young team with no hang ups battering a respected international team into submission. Mint.

That Hudson Odoi, Barkley and Loftus Cheik are all basically more likely to regularly start for England than Chelsea says a **** load about Chelsea. I hope they all **** off abroad or to clubs they'll get games and other young up coming players avoid **** house teams with a similar approach like the plague. Phil Foden must be sat there on nights like this banging on at his agent to get him out of Citeh. Career killers

Foden's getting regular games for Man City, he's played 23 times for them this season, which considering the squad they have is great stuff. I think he'll be in that team more and more as they go on too.

I wouldn't have minded him getting a call up, but I get Southgate not calling up all of the young lads at once. It's not like Foden is not playing either - he's with the U21s and played just last night.
