I came across an article by Geordie Rose of D'wave on quantum computing some time back. What i found rather disturbing was the idea that they would exploit any such parallel universe by going in and extracting resources. I know this may well not be possible BUT its the mindset.

Anyone seen the program Click? Fascinating what's being developed. They have found a way of recording music on DNA. This will be preserved for thousands of years. Doesn't require much imagination to see being able to store other things like encyclopaedias. If you could store such things in your own DNA we could all be geniuses. Who is to say that isn't what we are and that our memory isn't just storing information in our own DNA. Could explain why some kids are geniuses. Always believed we are computers as our structure is the same as computers (processor, memory, storage etc). Robots now can think, climb, fall over, operate upside down etc. So we are probably the most advanced robots and we are gradually being able to create robots that can act and think like humans. We were probably created by a very advanced civilisation and are about to do the same to create another generation, probably on another planet

Researchers have ran millions of simulations to achieve a statisticly more reliable value for N in the Fermi paradox. Results show the likelihood of extraterrestial intelligence in our galaxy and universe greatly reduced.
The whole lot of it is absolutely fascinating.

Still sticking with the space people Ron? Make sure when you're out and about that you're wearing one of those heavy duty tinfoil hats, it'll protect you from those dastardly reptilian humanoids who like nothing more than to fiddle with our vital organs.

Only taking the piss mate. <laugh>
