Please stop asking for Quinn to resign, I've got a head ache as it is.

I've stated on an earlier post, that having a Bruce out Brigade (which quite rightly is growing by the week) is one thing, but I've seen a few people on our very own board asking for Quinn to go to. What a f**king ridiculous notion. The most important person at the club at this minute is Ellis Short, our very own billionaire owner (remember the Murray era??) and he would not be here if it were not for Niall Quinn, whom I believe genuinely loves this club.

He's got an honourary degree from our university and a hospital wing named after him because he donated a million quid to its coffers. The man loves the club, the city and its people. He may not be perfect, and he may make incorrect decisions from time to time, but get real. This man should be going no where. Certainly ask him to justify his mistakes, but we owe him more than to simply say get out when things ain't great.

Quite right, ' by careful what you wish for ' when it comes to chairman and owners, look what happened up us at Newcastle. I am a Geordie working in Sunderland and get sick of hearing about Saint Niall when compared to FCB and his cronie we have in charge, but Quinn is class and loves your city and football team. Have to say though before I really go over to the dark side, it's nice to see you lot suffering instead of us for a change.

My degree from Sunderland Uni isn't honorary. I worked for it.

If I had had the opportunity to make a lot of money in my profession I also might give over any testimonial cash to decent causes. Sorry but at the moment (even with a degree) I'm so skint that I hope my work lasts out to pay next month's rent.

He appointed Bruce. And Keane. Why should his job and money be so safe?

Sack him. Bruce was his choice. He must have sanctioned the purchases AND THE SALES.

Sorry Quinn is a legend for me and i don't want any Indian chicken farmers who know nothing about football at our club or some fat cockney taking the piss out of its own fans.

Hear hear! Quinn is the best thing that ever happened to our club. I dread to think where we would be without him.

I am not happy either but some people need to get a grip. It's a game. We lost. We might win next week. Life goes on.

I'm logging off now as the rubbish on this board is doing my head in.
