easier to get those tickets. fa allocation system doesn't allow just anyone in. imo city are just small time
arsenal are awful away from home. my mate needs arsenal and Chelsea wins for 100 quid return and I just looked at him... "you bet on arsenal away??"
70% of that friendly crowd wouldn't be able to even consider getting tickets for a Liverpool semi final. we all agree city are small time, I just don't think we need examples of how we are not. only need point at cl final, Europa final and how many lfc travelled without tickets just to be there... city can't even get that at home.
You're completely missing the point. A meaningless friendly game = sellout. Competitive matches going for titles = half empty (or half full). The fact that the Wembley friendly was likely folks that would normally struggle to get a ticket just makes it all the more shocking that Man City can't get bums on seats. Liverpool could fill any stadium three times over.
not really... everyone has access for month in advance of thst friendly. people bring kids etc etc. the fa cup semi final tickets are on allocation and get returned as city don't have real fans. nobody is disputing that city are not small time here. I am saying lfc could fill Wembley 3 times over not out of plastics but out of real travelling fans.. for an fa cup semi where tickets are on allocation. 100% certain we would be over subscribed and not in a position to return a single ticket I'm sure if you had city v Barca friendly at Wembley you could sell the place out in the months it would be on offer.
Everton easily beat arsenal. huffy puffy arsenal. not threat. poor team selection. Everton good value for the win. thought they played well enough
hopefully they will be concentrating on wining europa and qualifying that way for cl. my mate who is a spuds fan, reckons its out of us and city for league and thinks utd will get 3rd and spuds 4th.
I look at it as they need to attack us and Sarri will play a 433 no matter the oppo. Seems the right time to play them with such stakes on the table
Buying trophies, show me a side that hasn’t done that? What you can say is, that the fans are not plastic. They have a hard pressed core, the ones who turned up against Gillingham in the playoff final. So not plastic, just hard pressed by City’s success. If only they had a large London based fan base like Liverpool.
out of their own resources sure whatever you like. when a state full of oil money steps.in and spends without any end then that's different.
