Good evening Spurs fans, first post for a while, but wanted to say well done on getting one over on City.

I watched the match with @The Changing Man and can vouch for him not enjoying the actual match and I may not have helped by being very positive about your chances even when city were on top.

My main reason for posting tonight is because whilst watching the game we were talking about how you don't seem to be missing Kane as much these days, he said that was causing much debate here and that I should read a few threads which I have today. But my thoughts were that Son is stepping up to the plate in his absence because he has learnt alot from training everyday with Kane about where to be, and last nights goals were a perfect example of this, they were both goals that you could easily see Harry Kane scoring from positions that he would normally take up. TCM said that I should post this as he thinks that he has possibly overdone his support of Kane in recent weeks, so here I am with my theory.

Anyway good luck for the rest of the season I expect I will be watching the match in Amsterdam from the same seat as TCM likes to keep things the same after a good result!

    Dear Moderators.
Are there any circumstances under which a poster can suggest another poster to feck off without getting banned?
    Asking for several friends.....

Pochettino (currently) does not have the luxury combo
    of Spur-perior team/management/philosophy that
    St Nicholson had.

And if VAR had been around then, Spurs would have
been the first UK winner of the UEFA Champions Cup.

I've spent most of the past 2 years slagging him off, so it's only right that I applaud Kieran Trippier for one of the best corners I have ever seen in football <applause><applause><applause>

Yep .Rounders......and basketball= netball! The 6/7 foot black players have taken over basketball. What is in the black players bodies that white men don't seem to have? Maybe they are more hungry?

I couldn't believe my eyes watching Poch in the dressing room. Show's he's human.
My favourite was something Brian put on. Chelsea fans going bananas when slippery sam made it 5-3......then the outbrake of tears when it was disallowed. Couldn't stop laughing!!!!!

You're a little late with the theory but you are spot on. I see you've received some likes from those who told me I was talking rubbish when I said it but hey ho.

It's funny but I don't recall you ever saying that Son was learning from Harry, in fact prior to talking with old my mate last night, I have not really seen or heard anyone else say that, and his point about last nights goals in particular is spot on, they were scored from positions that Harry may well have taken up if he was playing. The 2nd one in particular - how many times in the last few years have we seen Harry score goals like that.

The great thing about Sonny is that we now have a genuine understudy for Harry, who is also a fantastic player in the side as a supplementary striker/wide player. Its great to have options the best sides all have them and we now have 6/7 players for our front 4 positions all of whom are contributing and giving us options.
