Supers you can't have it both ways no matter how hard you try!

I just loathe this "holier than thou" approach that you always spout. You complain about other teams gamesmanship/cheating call it what you will and totally ignore the fact that Holt is guilty of the very same thing! This Norwich team is totally lacking in PL experience which was pointed out to you in the summer. Lambert is planning for life in the Championship next year as it is blatantly obvious with the signings he has made! No experienced Premiership players meaning that you are like lambs to the slaughter. Do you honestly believe that none of your "Saintly" players would ever dive in the penalty box or try and con the officials! If you seriously believe that then you are more delusional than I thought!

despite how dreadful halsey's performance was yesterday - one of the worst i have ever seen by the way - refereeing standards are far from my biggest gripe with the league. its the feigning of injury. i counted how many times a west brom player lay on the ground and it amounted to 11 during 90 minutes! only one was substituted due to injury and he was already about to be subbed anyway! it just gave him a reason to do, what was one of the most ridiculous limps from the field of play!! its any gamesmanship which bothers me - the rugby tackling going on in the penalty area was better executed than anything the england egg-chasers could achieve at the weekend. and as always, it goes totally unpunished...

obviously, ipswich fans love this because they got it in their heads that we somehow conned them into a 9-2 defeat last year but the reality is there is a problem with the game at the top level and if they have any ambition for their club they will suffer from it too.

bloody hell warky you are naive. lambert has signed players FOR THE FUTURE. its a pretty simple concept and it is totally irrelevant whether you think they are good enough. premier league experience is a phrase which people churn out because they don't know who they are watching. these players are getting premier league experience by playing in it. football is a game where players with ability beat teams with less ability. it isn't always the case, but most of the time its true. qpr have signed a host of players on vast sums of money in the HOPE they retain their place at the top table. we have signed young players in the KNOWLEDGE they will improve and give us a better team in the future. two different philosophies but nobody, neither me nor you, know if either will work until may next year. also, i have never said our players are whiter than white but some of the protestations you lot make towards them is frankly laughable. of course players sometimes push the rules too far - every team has had players that have done so - but i've never seen a norwich player do things to these levels before.

Supers you are seriously deluded mate!

Are you trying to tell me that none of your lot ever feign injury or dive or try and con the officials!

You raise good points but its a shame that you can't take off your budgie tinted specs for just a minute. This poor hard done by Norwich routine is just laughable.

Ha ha, it does look like that but i am a realist and if we play badly then i can easily accept losing....... The soul of the premier lg has been traded in long ago but the level of refs is astonishing breeding a generation of play actors...
The Italians mastered this long ago and even the Spanish routinely cheat to win tournaments..

<grr>I am in a minority on here that thinks we should do the same, its not footy its a pantomime in the prem. Dive, elbow waste time hassle the ref after every decision try to get opposition players sent off...It will be a good education for the few that go on to play at international level

While I am in the "Experienced player" mode let me add this....................

    1. Having experience does not mean a player is good consistently enough.
To support that statement. DeLaet is going to get lots of experience this season in the PL, it might not make him a consistently good player next season or the season after that.

    2. Good players cost good money in the PL, we are not going to get PL class players with a lower transfer fee and or low wages and teams newly promoted, unless bank rolled are not going to afford to get the better players in. The cheap one's go the Championship. Why? Because they are no longer good enough for the PL, in some cases not good enough for the Championship.

If it was PL fantasy football where everyone is given a £100m budget to play with it would be different but it is not.

What are the alternatives when a club has little money and a relatively small ground? There are not many and PL is doing what he can under the circumstances.

All our players will get PL experience this season which will hopefully give them a better standing next season, be it in the PL or Championship.

Guys believe it or not I admire the way your team plays football and the attitude that they show. I will be the first to acknowledge that Ipswich in terms of footballing ability are streets behind you at this moment in time. What I will say is that it is all very well playing nicey nicey football in pretty passing patterns with creativity and flair but then have no result at the end of it. From what I have seen so far you desperately need some steel to fit inside the velvet glove and you have to earn the right to play your football as teams wont give you the opportunity. Your midfield and central defence yesterday allowed WBA to run through too easily and the number of times a simple ball over the top caused problems was just amazing.

The Blackburn's, WBA's and Wigan's of this world are geared up for survival and that means they have comprimised on their style of play. You have got Bolton away next weekend and judging on how you have played so far I don't fancy De Laat or Whitbread up against Kevin Davies and Klasnic. You have got to get street wise.

We won t play pretty football and win at this level, we do need to add an experienced hardman at the back, we could take a leaf out of Ipswich s book and sign some experience... I wonder if Muscatt is available?

Unbelievable depths of bitterness! But don't worry, you only have to tolerate the Premiership for a short while longer. You moaning minnies are the pits.

Also while we are on about double standards, did anybody happen to see Grunt shout '**** off Ref' in full screen yesterday, when a double pike didn't win a free-kick. A certain Man Utd striker got a hefty ban for that last season for swearing on national tv, what sort of example to the kids is that setting from Saint Grunt!
