It would happen game by game. Random people would be sat in our seats or near our seats having bought cheap ones in the south. People just move around like ten minutes in to find better seats.
I've not been on here for ages. Still going to games but kind of withdrawn emotionally from City at the moment. Just dreading whatever happens next. If Nigel stays then would they allow him to build a team he wants. If he goes then do we plummet down the divisions. Best outcome would be new owners but we've been waiting far too long for that to happen, seems like it never will and I can't understand why, the Allams surely have taken every penny they can, don't like football etc etc, why hang on.
I see Huddersfield's Chairman has stood down due to ill health. Took over 10 years ago. Promised some years ago that if they reached the PL season ticket holders would be able to buy one for the same price. A promise he honoured and made the others affordable. Which is why he went round the pitch to a very warm ovation from the fans. Has sold the club to another life long fan. If only...
I imagine they’ll be calling him to fuxk on their forum for not spending enough money and getting relegated
Think Hoyle has more money than the Allams and is a lifelong fan. Not many clubs have a lifelong fan who has hundreds of millions of quid to his name.... so it seems a little unbalanced to make a comparison with such an exceptional owner. They are a real rarity. Unfortunately owners with little or no local connection, very little understanding of how football works and who want to own a football club for all the wrong reasons are getting increasingly commonplace.
It’s spite. This isn’t a progressive way to run a business and make money, it’s a spiteful way to throw a low blow and recover your money.
His worth is given as £290 million, not that far in front of Allam. So it isn't too unbalanced a comparison. And he has sold it to another lifelong fan. Why can't we find one local with money, never mind two, to buy City? There are people in the area worth more than Hoyle or his successor.
Wh can't we find one? Maybe they manage it because there's nothing to do or spend your money on in Huddersfield?
I've no idea wh. Perhaps it's because there are very few local or indeed Yorkshire people with that money. Has anyone got Jim Ratcliffe's telephone number?
And here i was thinking they bought the club as a gift to the city of Hull .. !!!! How much interest are they currently charging on this 'gift' again ?
The Healeys and the bloke who started Comet weren't short of a bob or two. There are quite a few Yorkshire people with money. Unfortunately not City fans Don't see how being born in Lancashire, educated in Beverley and a Man Utd fan would mean Ratcliffe would be interested in anything Hull related. Pity.
