I would have preferred Ajax tbh, I think we could have out fought them. It will be a very tough final
Yep but we will be installed as favourites cause of league position but this comes down to two teams who know each other really well. I have a sick feeling about this
Spurs tactic in that 2nd half of pumping it long to Llorente will not work against us with VvD. Son and Moura worry me though
So could be looking at all English European finals if arsenal and Chelsea do the business tomorrow night. Has that ever happened for England or any country?
Football has gone crazy. This is madness. One miracle is unbelievable but a second arguably even more difficult (3 down away from home with only 45 minutes left,) in consecutive nights is simply inconceivable.
Funny thing is Poch started the league game at Anfield with a back 5. Switched to a back 4 and over run our midfield of Hendo Wij and Milner for 20 mins. We switched to a 4231 and regained control. That was the game that lead to Hendo asking to play further forward and has not looked back since. It is also the game that meant Klopp keeps playing Fab as the holding midfielder more giving us stability. The back 4 and front 3 is already known. Midfield will be a battle between Wij and Milner who gets the last starting spot. All Klopp needs to do is make them watch last years final. That dissapointment should be our motivation. If we leave everything om that field we should win it. But Spurs are in it so here is to June 1st .
Would have preferred Ajax too. But I've got a good feeling about the CL this time. Better Spurs than City.
Garry Neville proves how nobody thinks spurs are a big club by supporting them against Liverpool same I'm sure.for too Ferdinand and of course the orange dickhead linked will pretend he's got reason to support spurs as well. I'm sure all former big club Utd legends will be soon doing the same as they rocking back and further in agony. it really is a slap in the face to spurs really.
I was watched both legs and was certain we would rip Ajax a new one so Spurs winning was a bit disappointing. Spurs work hard and will have their moment in a game we just have to work harder and be better, quality wise we're the better team all over the park but this will be tough.
yes. I think poch is inclined to tinker and get things wrong at start but then makes tactical changes during games well. our thing is a) sissoko absolutely key b) kane might **** them up. unfit not sharp.(might equally score 2. that's kane) c) they are very pressable. they have shown this in past. they key is getting on eriksen hard as he is the guy they pass around until he is free to take it. d) lloris clangers for me it should be a huge game of effort. i hope.our experience stands to us. I also hope salah actually passes.
There have been some completely mad results in CL this season. Not only the 4-0 at Anfield, the Spurs match at City with the last gasp goal ruled out, the impossible win at PSG by a complete reserve manc side with no attack and last night a Spurs team scoring 3 in 35 minutes against an Ajax in complete control by a striker who had hardly scored in previous matches. As I said the world has gone mad and nothing no score no outcome is now safe. We are going to win the league title with the last kick or header of the game by the...Brighton GK who had gone up for a corner in the last minute of added time.
nah mate. a real.miracle.would be kompany actually sent off and glen murray scoring the resulting free.
Bring it on! Would have been very confident vs Ajax, but we should still do Spurs over. Let’s just hope we get everyone back, fully fit.
We simply cannot let this trophy slip after having gone through impossible hurdles. It would be far too cruel. Believe. The players do and that what's most important. They just have to forget about the previous finals and play our normal game.
