Mansfield Town have sacked manager David Flitcroft after just over a year in charge following their defeat in the League Two play-off semi-finals.

Slightly harsh, although I always thought he was complete tosspot when playing against us for Bury, Macc etc..always giving it loads to Kempton, so bollocks to him.

Bit harsh, he got them to the playoff semis ffs. Were they expecting automatic promotion or something? (If they were, please enlighten me)

They where practically in the automatics all year, and backed him quite heavily with wage budget etc.... They had a very poor run at the end of the season. They relied a lot of Walker who cost them quite a bit in wages too, and they have no chance of getting him back. I think it's a little harsh maybe but I can understand it.

They were aiming to go up. They should have stuck with Steve Evans, the fat handed twat that he is.
