Why not highlight this bit chazz " It is not tenable to price out kids and families in this way, and could cause immense long-term damage to the club "
Which is exactly what I said on the thread when it came out about no concessions . Why ?? Because some silly **** was making a snide dig at me when I said exactly the same as olm and others at the fwg Or did you not read this thread?
You didn't say the same though did you? You called other posters ****s and accused them of just wanting to be negative all the time, which is a really lazy way of dismissing people's concerns. For 6 years now that dismissive line has been one of the most common ones used by the Allams themselves and also by people defending them online. It's obviously done with the intent of avoiding discussion of the actual issue and instead trying shut people down without having a strong point to make.
I've heard of a pile of **** and a crock of **** but never a pile of crock. Must have been coined by a 'rocket surgeon.'
Did he? Do you think OLM would agree that he said the same thing as: "Seems very positive at first glance. I can see a few of the usual ****s trying to drag it down and be negative."
Not a bad suggestion really. At least that way when it appears at the top of the list I wont be getting my hopes up for nothing
Promotion to tye PL again is another Norfolk expression. As is all tickets sold. Wonder when we will be using them?
Always leave a bone for a dog to chew over. So, for the definite article, they use the dialect word 'tye'? Corrected for you. Free of charge.
Where there's a will, there's a way... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9160258/newcastle-mike-ashley-sell-350million/
Yep, another club sold to someone with massive bulging pockets. Only super businessman Assem Allam can fail to sell Hull City (apparently we've been up for sale since 2014). Even when City were in the PL he failed to sell a club named The Tigers, who play in black & amber stripes & have a snarling Tiger as their emblem to a Chinese billionaire (not exactly a hard task!!!) Just shows he has,& never will have, any intention of selling whilst making millions every year from the loan (5% of £50 mill). We are stuck with these leeches sucking the lifeblood out of our club.
To be fair, having a massive fan base and a large stadium of your own in a city where football is king and where the media and a lot of locals don’t treat rugby league as the major sport helps.
