I bet they love seeing ex-players win the Champions League. Probably as much as I did with Sheringham and Carrick

Champions League final live screening details confirmed

Fans are invited to watch the Champions League final on the giant screen at Space by M&S Bank Arena, The Auditorium Liverpool and the convention centre, on Saturday June 1.

The screening, which is in association with BT Sport, the exclusive live broadcaster of the competition in the UK, will show the clash between the Reds and Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid.

Due to important operational preparations for concerts being held in June, Anfield is unavailable for this screening.

The Auditorium Liverpool, Space by M&S Bank Arena and the convention centre – all part of Liverpool event campus – are expected to hold around 11,500 supporters across three separate spaces.

Supporters are advised that children under 14 will only be allowed in the Auditorium space.

Supporters who were unsuccessful in the ballot for Champions League final tickets will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the screening in a pre-sale from 10am on Tuesday May 21 until 9am on Thursday May 23. Tickets will be limited to one per transaction and supporters must have their customer number.

Tickets for the screening will go on general sale on May 23 at 12pm via www.ticketquarter.co.uk and will be limited to four per transaction.

Tickets will be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children (16 and under).

You said you didn't like seeing Sheringham and Carrick win things. What if the alternative was Arsenal winning instead? I'm sure you'd prefer to see the ex-players win then. ie Arsenal fans would rather see Ox win than Spurs. It's a double edged sword as you suggested, you just seen to have missed the alternative.

Plus, Arsenal will probably get money if Ox wins the CL, most of our deals seem to have these clauses in nowadays.

If i missed the alternative it wouldn't be a double anything. I get Arsenal fans want you to win just like I did Barcelona when they got to the final. All I meant was they might wonder what might have been if they kept their better players as a counterpoint to their joy if we lose.

Trent Alexander-Arnold in line to make Champions League final history

Trent Alexander-Arnold will make history should he start the Champions League final.
If selected in Liverpool’s XI in Madrid, the right-back would become the first ever player aged under 21 to start consecutive finals in Europe’s premier club competition.
The previous youngest to do so was Christian Panucci with AC Milan in 1994 and 1995. The former Italy international was 22 while playing in the latter showpiece versus AFC Ajax.
Alexander-Arnold, meanwhile, does not turn 21 until October.

Record no of assists in CL in a season = 9 (milner and luis figo)

Currently trent is only on 4 so he's a bit of a away to go there.

I suppose i'd settle for him tieing the record this year :bandit:

If Trent wins the CL with Liverpool, he'll be one of the youngest winners alongside Paulo Maldini who was also 20 when he won his first in 1989.
