Whenever I see things like this it reminds me of the Andre Gray fiasco when despite the millions of the Premier League we wouldn't shell out an extra couple of hundred grand to secure his signature .. and yet there are still those among us that feel the Allams are right.
So Bowen will go for North of £15 million & we can’t even fork out 500K! Just go Allams, you could have been heroes, left a legacy of good will. But all you’ll leave now is a nasty memory!
worse BB.... we're getting 750k sell on from Daniel James.... perhaps totally unexpected.... not to mention the potentially bigger windfall...
Yeah For one broken He Man, a headless Evel Knieval, Stretch Armstrong’s leg and an Action Man with no eagle eye
much much worse BB. They'll leave a ('our') shell of a club decimated, having managed to undo and more all the good work that was achieved during 'the decade'. They will have ensured that thousands of good City fans will now never return, even when they've gone. They've possibly (probably) lost a new generation of local support. And they'll leave with many thousands of local people, not just us City fans, despising the pair of them. Great work. Great gift. That's if they ever do go.
The Allams retort will simply be we don't think he's worth £500k, and hide again behind the rhetoric!
Linked with Ben Woodburn again https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/hull-city-linked-summer-swoop-2903944
"That proposed deal failed to materialise as Nigel Adkins opted against strengthening his attacking line " I seriously doubt that
£90m? Shows how **** our dealings are when we sold him for the square root of **** all. At least we’ll get some kick back from this - unfortunately straight into the back pocket of the incompetents.
There's absolutely no ****ing way Nigel knocked back the chance to strengthen his forward line. Somebody's telling porkies again. Shocker
Tbf since leaving us he has developed like Robertson has with better players around him .. he has become a regular for England and had an outstanding world cup .. I do agree he and Robertson were sold below their value at the time but not much tbh. Maguire's value now reflects him being a seasoned Premiership and International defender.
Leicester expected to pay £10m more for Maguire than they actually did. Robertson who is mentioned by many ex professionals as one of the best left backs in the world. Sold well below market value.
Robertson is NOW probably the best left back in the Premier League .. he wasn't the finished product when he left here .. and maybe Leicester may or may not have expected to pay more .. but they didn't..simples. Neither were sold for their true value as I said .. but let's not get silly and think they haven't increased their worth hugely since leaving.
Robertson has improved, especially defensively and he needed to. Harry was always a player and we should have got £30m* * Not that I care, It wouldn't have been reinvested anyway.
They always had that potential and probably everyone else except you can see they were sold far too cheaply. The reason why they were sold too cheaply is because we have non footballing people attempting to run football related matters. If you had a house valued at £500k you’re coming across as the sort of person that would sell it for £250k. Do you want to buy some magic beans?
Maguire's good, but not £90m good. Leicester have overvalued him because they don't want to sell him, he has 4 years left on his contract. It's like having a house valued at £250k and putting it on the market at £500k.
You are really a very obnoxious individual arent you .. as a kid did you do a lot of stamping with your feet if you didn't get your own way or everyone didn't agree with you. Wise up and realise that people have opinions .. we don't ALL have to agree with your opinion .. and just because it's different to yours it isn't necessarily wrong.
