    They did something similar on a run down street in Gloucester.
    Apparently it brought the community and neighbours together which is not a bad thing.

    It would be difficult because of the way Hull centre is configured, but it would be nice to have a shopping centre with all the places open to eat until 11pm like the one in Gloucester. And to do as they did with all the warehouses, making them into apartments with cafes and bars on the ground level of many of them.

    I find it hard to believe that Spring Bank-ladesh will bring the neighbours together with a coat of paint, hope I'm wrong though.

    Years since I have been down there regularly. Botanic was my local when I lived in Hull. Polar Bear after City matches until I stopped going.

    I don't live in Hull so I wouldnt know what time the shopping centres close.
    We live in Richmond nearest decent shopping area to us us is Kingston which is the
    Same **** all open after 7pm apart from **** theme bars and take-aways Richmond isnt much better either apart from Friday & Saturday nights.
