Such sad news, I was hoping what I read yesterday wasnt true but sadly it turned out it was correct. RIP far too young.

I have to be honest - towards the end of his time at Gillingham, JE was beginning to annoy me with his attitude towards the fans ( blaming us for defeats rather than accepting 'the buck.' ) Maybe I didn't appreciate the despair and stress of his position at GFC. Also, having gone to the Evans' evening (( where SE came across as quite charming )), maybe we [ I ], do not fully appreciate the intense, and perhaps unique pressure that is felt by football club managers - and maybe their reactions are a release of pressure they feel under, and a sign of their passion for their profession (( not made any easier if you are a manger of a lower league club. )) --- it really isn't worth dying for !
In the first twelve months of his tenure, I witnessed some of the nicest and best football in my whole time of following the Gills. In 2015/16 he got us to dare to dream of returning to the Championship and although we didn't quite make it, still with two weeks left of the season the play offs were a really possibility. Justin, it didn't end the way we hoped but I won't forget that 4-0 win over Sheffield United or that 3-2 League Cup win over Premier League Watford any time soon. Rest in Peace, 49 is too young.
Such devastating news. He started his Gills carear brilliantly and we thought we had a brilliant manager unfortunately he lost his way. we should of made play offs at least and following season we were fighting relagation. His carear was back on the up with promotion with Orient this season unfortunately he won't be around to see the new season. RIP Jed far to young
The club has confirmed it will be having a book of condolences open for everyone to sign between 9am and 8pm at the stadium all of this week so if anyone does feel so inclined, they are welcome to sign it in memory of Justin.
