Would they let him into the US though............. Controversy Whyte was spoken to by police, and publicly apologised, in January 2019 after filmed footage appeared of him exposing his genitals in the street during an evening out with friends in Belfast.
He may be the new Chris Burke but surely even with Kadeem gone, we’ve got enough wingers- unless someone’s coming in for Murphy or NML?
Its a long season and we need depth to cover injuries, but also to have quality off the bench in the last 20 mins of games. Dont just want padding though. Need to unload some of our current padding.

8 and a bit days to Wigan away. Window shuts on 8th August. What’s your views on how we’ve done so far on the transfer front; good, bad, mixed? I’m in the mixed opinion category. Vaulks and Flint are good signings in areas where replacements were necessary but the failure to land so far a dominant central midfielder and striker is not good. Plus we’ve still got some deadwood still at the club (refer to OS’s post on this). We’re told the transfer team is working hard and I’m sure there’ll be rumours galore in the next few weeks.
I think the existing squad as it is can do very well in the Championship this season - but not necessarily well enough to ensure (as best you can) promotion out of it. There appears to be an inherent belief in being able to repeat the success of the season before last with broadly the same personnel and tactics. That might well be correct, but although it will cost decent money, we need to buy some insurance. Unless Tomlin has turned his life around and will play out of his skin this season, our midfield is woefully short of creativity - should we rely on Tomlin? Then again, creating chances is one thing, but converting them needs a different animal - we don't possess that "animal". Two quality signings or even loanees (please not 11th hour stuff again ) could transform this club from just being a contender into a prospective champion. God knows how much it will cost for a quality playmaker and a proven effective striker to get on the end of things, but the rewards are there to be grasped and the investment should be made this summer - not try to retrieve the situation in January.

Slow news day. Just a rehash of the article from 2/3 weeks ago. Not saying it might not happen but lazy journalism once again. Print it often enough, someone will believe it and it might happen. Tell them to foxtrot oscar.
Probably Nin. Better to keep what you know you have rather than having to chase around on the last day of the window. I would still prefer us to keep Etheridge. He will be the best keeper in our league and a statement of intent to show we are serious - in defence at least. Where's this new striker we need?
