So Wigan down to 10 men - Leeds 1-0 up and we're playing Brentford next - I watched this yesterday... time to do some rewriting Leeds
Not a bad first half, good possession in last 10 mins, but not taking advantage of Wigan's 10 man team.
That bamford bloody nerve hes got. I mean being like a striker andbpopping up in the right place. We need better he will never score
Beautiful cross by Klich. The best yet. Which got me wondering, and observing, concluding that for all the crossing we're doing, they're actually AWFUL! Especially from the left. Sure, they hit the spot, mostly, but only in terms of location. They rarely find a man who can do something with it. The number of crosses that have ended up at the other touchline because the line of Leeds players were 5 yards behind its flight! Going to watch carefully in the second half to see if this is a disease or a temporary aberration.
Question for budding refs out there. At one stage, the ref pulled the game back & declared a foul against Dallas. The commentator surmised that it must have been the 4th official that contacted him (as no other official was near). I personally didn't think the 4th official was allowed to take part in the game. I though he was simply there as an administrator. Have the rules changed? Then again, this ref needs all the help he can get. Loves his yellow cards. I'm not being (too) biased. For instance, I don't think their lad deserved a red. Missed the first yellow, but the second was nothing as far as I can see. (Then again, the stream I've got, I've got to stand the laptop on its side to watch it). He seems to be in love with their striker (#19). Gives him fouls for nothing, & ignores his assaults on our players. Too many times for it to be a coincidence. They like their ref moans, do Wigan. And it does seem to be influencing him imo.
Here we go again. Wasn't it LL who made himself a laughing stock by claiming that Wood kept having accidentally scoring? Never meant to score one of them, as I recall. Antenucci would have scored approx 267 if he had been playing instead of Wood.
