An away point is always a good point - better than a defeat for sure. Credit to the lads for never giving up. I am concerned though that Royston posted at HT that Charlton had played their poorest football this season so far until we went 1-0 down. Would like to know exactly why that was - especially from fans who were at the match today.
Have a good trip home Royston But once you've had time to rest after your long trip and gather your thoughts, could you shed some light on why it was such an ugly performance from Charlton today? Doubtless we will all be reading Lee Bowyer's analysis before long. But I'd like your perspective too, and indeed that of any other fan who was there today. I'm not entirely comfortable moving on until we have a better idea what went wrong.
Barnsley are a slick passing side who play the pressing game. They harried us throughout & we never settled on the ball. Our defence was poor today - parted like the Red Sea ....or @baraettmattesvensson legs near a MILF
788 Charlton fans today, FANTASTIC support. @Clb74 I'm looking forward to seeing you Wednesday in The Bricklayers
The Bricklayers in Bromley on Wednesday mate and you can have one half of the bet. What 2 pints would you like?
Darren Pratley is proving a few people wrong so far this season, me included. He looks a totally different player to last season. His passing & touch are much better, and he is covering the ground protecting that back 4.
Remember he couldn't get a run of games in his favoured position last year because Bielik was playing there.
I lost the breakfast bet with Mr ban Gerwen for Blackburn, but I won yesterday. So that makes it quits
Lardiman it will be tough watching us away from home this season Bowyer will set us up not to lose , i think were better than that. Id love for one game Lee to tell Taylor to stay up front and not play every position possible. I do like a moan but quite a few times Saturday we pumped the ball forwards and im shouting thats alright if the midfield are going to back the forwards up quicker.
