No, We'll see how your lot get on tomorrow/ today. Unfortunately the weather is looking like it will be better for batting.

Well it was a batting wicket and ..... when do England start? It appears as though Australia are having another go, but I didn't see the poms bat as I was at a concert

This series is getting to farcical. Still, they won't need any of their top order batsmen, the bowlers score more than the poms.

All joking aside, this has to be the worst group of players to ever contest an Ashes series.

Yes the bowlers are half decent from both sides but the batting is woeful. Two decent batsmen in total, Smith and Labuscagne who is batting with more maturity than any of the other 21 players currently on the pitch

Root is not captain material, Roy is not an opener, the England team need to realise test match cricket is not the same as one day.

Archer and Labuscagne the only positives for both teams (and Smith when fit)

He can, but insists on the high heels these days, which don't do him any favours. <whistle>

I will agree a couple of our batsmen need to up their game but our bowling and fielding have been good. Cummins is the world No1 test bowler and 5 for 30 from Hazlewood isn't shabby. Mitchell Starc is also still available and he can bowl quicker than Archer.
