He would destroy the league with Bowen and Grosicki alongside him. I'd back us for promotion with Hernandez here.
Individually they have done ok no more But as the centre mids they need to dictate and tell and get a grip on the game Blackburn are walking it Looks like men against boys
We had chances in the first half that should have been taken by Bowen & Batty Both full backs very poor and Eaves offered nothing. Changes will have to be made on Saturday. Stewart outstanding again.
As has been the case for too many seasons, for me at least. We have no leader on the pitch. We have a lot pf prissy players with tricks and pony tails, but no one who will give **** to teamates and tell them to roll their socks up.... IMO...
The subs have not worked at all. Taking Batty off has left us completely open in midfield. Looks like Noone knows where they are playing and it is just put as many attacking players on as possible and hope it works. We said in the first half we might regret not taking our chances. How right we where.
For me Stewart and Irvine played well .. Grosicki in parts .. Bowen poor tonight .. Eaves not at the races yet .. poor selection of McKenzie .. should have been Lopez from the start at rb .. question marks still surround Kingsley ... more negatives then positives I'm afraid .. but having said that penalty goes in and who knows how it would have turned out .. Mowbray deffo has our number that's for sure.
Only saw second half but quite simply they were better than us across the piece. Organised, focused and playing with a plan. We always seemed to be surprised to be in position then having to make it up on the hoof. Oh, and Kingsley has to go.
As well as the team learning, this is a steep learning curve for McCann too.... he has to decide on his best 11 and stick to it. Hopefully the Leicester lad at LB is ready soon and Lichaj isn't too serious as today was a shambles... Lopes de Silva has played at RB but its not his position. Eaves needs to be out of the firing line.
