Thanks fellas, yes we will be going mid-week during half-term in October. Think the Sainsbury option is best. Oh, I have a big car so I hope Sainsbury car park have some decent size spots!
Sounds perfect, after all, I do not want to spend to long in the Shop! Thanks for the recommendation.
A new stadium, eh? Just look at that transparent players tunnel and single-tier stand behind the goa... hang on.
Given that it appears to be surrounded by water on 3 sides, getting into and out of it might just be a problem? It looks spectacular, mind.
As well as appearing in this year's FIFA, the ST/\DIUM also appears in this year's Madden - as seen below please log in to view this image
Just seen a video of ledley king doing pranks on fans at one of our stadium tours very funny .what a player what a legend
Results of a THST survey about fan experience at the two grounds we used last season have been published 95% of fans polled said they were satisfied with the experience at the ST/\DIUM 52% of those polled actually had good things to say about the atmosphere-free hellhole that is Wembley
I wonder if he'll ever attend a match there? Virtually the only ex-Arsenal player that would get a good reception, barring a few that have played for both sides.
How was WHL station yesterday for supporters ?? I passed thru on friday for the first time in weeks, and although a fair amount had happened it looked far from finished.
There were problems with the power there, so I skipped it and went via Tottenham Hale. Lots of people having issues with tickets though, plus the turnstiles went down for a bit. Didn't really affect me, but there were a number of people being sent to the ticket office and getting stuck in queues.
I need to get from and then back to Marylebone and have usually taken the Circle Line to Liverpool St and then to WHL or Northumberland Park. Yesterday the Circle Line was closed so I tried Bakerloo to Oxford Circus and Victoria to Tottenham Hale. It's about a 25 min walk to the ground from there and there was no queue at all on the way back and the train was completely empty when it arrived. Journey time to Marylebone quite similar to my normal route. More walking but less queueing.
A couple of bits of news today... Firstly, the club has moved to refinance some of the debt. From US sources, the club has moved £400m of debt to bonds maturing between 15 and 30 years time. The 'interest rate' is said to be 2.25 percent, reflecting the club's excellent financial history and the confidence of repayment. Secondly, it's expected that the stadium will be announced as the venue for an e-sports thingy. Kerrrrrr-chiiiiiiing!
If it were all 30 years, that's a tad over 26M a year, beer and food sales should cover that. £386 in Interest, very cheap mortgage.
1.0225 ^ 15 ~ 1.396 (1.396 - 1) * 400 ~ 158 158 / 15 ~ 10 So on those terms, ENIC has to put aside 10m pa for the next 15 years in order to meet the bond first maturity date. "Secondly, it's expected that the stadium will be announced as the venue for an e-sports thingy. Kerrrrrr-chiiiiiiing!" The unofficial utilisation song for new WHL :
Next thing to do is to upgrade the service at the stadium bars. Frankly it’s currently unacceptable, the staff are clueless and the queues are horrendous.
I would have thought that poor service will result in lower than predicted sales and knowing DLs brother that will be high on his todo list this season
Takes far too long to get served, considering it takes about 2 seconds to pour a pint and the payment is all cashless.
