I just miss the guy. I take nothing away from Rickie Lambert and his era, but those two seasons, with Graziano leading the line were the best for me. He was charismatic, with a smile never far from his face. And some really cracking games as well. Mind you, this latest crop could get me changing my mind if they really get going as a team. The individual skills of some of our players has got me wanting to watch them again.

https://readsouthampton.com/2019/08...hampton-hasenhuttls-work-has-only-just-begun/ We're good at everything except scoring and preventing goals.
Definitely feel that Ralph is less than happy at the moment....and I don't mean with the points total...because we are only 3 games in, but with the fact the team still can't seem to execute his plans with any degree of comfort. I expected them to be better after an intensive summer training....as no doubt, did he. Let's hope to see signs of an improvement in the next few matches and put the smile back on Ralph's face.
I just hope that there wasn’t a CB he wanted that we couldn’t deliver for him and he gets pissed off. Clearly defending was the issue from last season. Let’s see where we are 6-10 games in.
I knew we might still be dodgy in defence, but hope to see us more free scoring as our attacking players are better than the defenders. We need to score a few to get points with our defence. Early days to judge by results, but would like to see more consistency in play....a good start would be nice....instead of just being better in the second half.
