I hope this may be helpful for any Cardiff fans travelling to Derby by road for the game on Friday 13th September [yes, Friday the 13th], parking is available on 2 sites which are 100 and 400 yards from the stadium at £6 per car/van [sorry no coaches].

Currently, and for the foreseeable future I would not recommend that you do not approach via the M1 and A52, as the entry and exit slip roads to/from Pride Park are both closed.

I would advise that you travel via M5/M42/A42/M1/A50/A6, leave the A50 and head towards Derby on the A6, you will reach Alvaston, at the A5111 Ring Road island go straight across in the left hand lane, likewise at the next island keep left and proceed along London Road to the next island which is signed >>>PRIDE PARK [before this island you will pass the Navigation Inn which is an away supporters designated pub].

Turning right at the island go through the lights to the next island and turn right, go past the front of the stadium and straight across the next island into RIVERSIDE ROAD, the FRENGER SYSTEMS car park is about 60 yards on the right hand side, this site is more suited to the elderly and less able supporters.

The PRIDE VETERINARY CENTRE car park is the last unit on the left hand side of Riverside road, when leaving this car park after the game you should turn left and the left at the island, go straight across the next island, this takes you to the Merlin Pub island and back towards London Road.

I've checked the weather forecast and there is no snow forecast so the game should be on :emoticon-0105-wink: have safe journey.

Thanks buddy. I see you got your reference to the snow in first. That will go down in folklore I suspect. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Thanks for the travel and parking advice. My usual travelling companions will not be attending this game, miserable sods, so can you advise me where the best place to park a motorbike please?

    Much appreciated. :emoticon-0116-evilg

Oi BT. I've got a good excuse. Will be out of the country for my daughter's wedding.

Cheers Nabby. Very helpful for those travelling. The UK weather is supposed to get worse so you never know........

There are areas with bike/motorbike rails on the stadium forecourt however I'm not sure whether these are just for home supporters, I will try to find out and post my findings.

There are motorbike racks on the North East Corner [near the club shop] and North West Corner [near The Backyard Eaterie/Coffee Shop, I would advise you arrive at least 90 minutes before K/O to ensure that there are some still vacant.
Access to the North West is via the main stadium entrance and for the North East via the club shop entrance.
    I hope this helps.

That's great. Thanks for checking for me Knabby.

If I arrive at the time you suggest I will lend a hand with the snow clearing :emoticon-0100-smile
