Fifa orders Cardiff to pay Nantes for Sala. That sounds like the right decision to me. And it puts an end to the ugliness that followed the the tragic death of Sala.
Nothing to do with "the right" decision CS. FIFA are just clarifying the contractual position according to their rules and regulations etc. The right decision would have been for Cardiff to hold their hands up and not try and wriggle out of it in the first place. Disgraceful on their part.
Might well, but that simply reinforces my point that what's right is the last thing under consideration.
Fabian Delph somehow gets into the England squad again, I just don't know what he does to justify taking up a spot with a player who plays regularly.
Do you mean "taking up a spot from a player who plays regularly for his club"? If he were replacing a player who plays regularly for England under Southgate, the answer would probably be that that player wasn't available for some reason, or was seriously out of form. If you mean plays regularly for his club, the likely answer is that Southgate picks players who fit his system, not the player's club system.
From the Mirror: Former Arsenal player Lukas Podolski has joked that Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry - who also used to play for the Gunners - should be the Premier League club's player of the month, after the 24-year-old German scored four goals against their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Well, who saw that result coming at SJP???? ManUre only 2 points above the relegation zone and how much longer can Solskjaer hang on??? SB's first time in beating ManUre as a manager in 24 attempts!!! Liverpool 8 points clear at the top and a few points gained by any of the teams in the bottom half of the league can change things dramatically.
Many of you know I have several Sunderland friends, since Jack Ross took over as manager in May last year, only Liverpool and Man. City have lost fewer games. A small section of so called fans have managed to get Ross the sack! Please don't let Canary Callers do the same to DF
To be fair Dave but do you know our club? With each and every manager they seem to hold on longer than even the more reasonable fans are happy with, a few Canary callers won't change that this time just as it didn't with Neil or Hootun and many others. Besides which under Webber's watch I trust him to make the right call at the right time ignoring the noise! I think the majority are firmly behind Farke and will remain so for the forseeable. Most of us can see that he is sh#t out of options regarding fit players and any points between now and the new year probably represent miracle work. That said if the Villa performance turns into the norm, I can see some trouble ahead, we have to be better and fight harder than that even with the injury problems. Bah!
