Generally, you can Google for it. For example, just type Jack Cork Twitter into Google, or substitute Steve De Ridder, or Jos Hooiveld, etc... Now try the same for Jason Puncheon. OK, maybe it's not 100%, but Twitter isn't about concealing info. It's about getting noticed.

Google updates with the page rank algorytm. Punch has only been on twitter 4 hours. It wouldnt be on google as of yet. His account has been verified by Joey Barton and D J Cambell so id imagine it is his twitter.

OK, he does have a Twitter account, although I typed in loads of variations on his name. I did say I could be wrong. Sure it's him..? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Fine. Just read that he's new at it. Looks like he could be a potential bean spiller, re. Pards, etc...

A lot of people on twitter are suddenly trying to be best mates with him, he started well but he was very poor for a large number of games. Just because fans get on your back you shouldn't get in strop, you should try and prove them wrong. Also, there is a reason why he doesn't get on with Cortese, he is the only player who can't seem to get on with him. Wonder why that is!?

Why is he a twat? Explain your reasoning behind that opinion.

I've always said there are a few 'fans' that got on his back very early in the season and that really made him care less and less.

He was very good when he first signed, we can't forget he did very well under Pardew...

I admit I'm not his biggest fan, but I don't understand the pure hatred towards him. He played his part in what was a very good team towards the end of our first campaign in league one. And then a few games into the following season he is bitched and moaned about when the whole team weren't playing to their potential.

I would happily take him back if NA thinks this way. He is a quality player and has shown this in the PL with Blackpool.

Ah well, I guess he won't be able to please everyone. <ok>

I gave him the benefit of the doubt way back when, and I've always suggested we give him the chance he obviously needs. Plus, I never quite understood why fans got on his back, when he was obviously just off form. But the die is/was cast. Besides, Adkins will not have him in the team. Cortese doesn't want him here, under the present conditions, so what's to do..? I suggested a few weeks ago that the best scenario for everyone involved is for him to have a permanent transfer, and let bygones be bygones. I still think that's the best policy. Of course, if all parties come together to shake hands and start again, then fine. I'm merely a supporter, and I want what's best for Saints only. If that means Puncheon stays, fine by me. If it means he goes, then again fine.

I've always thought that Puncheon was picked on by the fans and was a talented player who could have done a job for us, but that ship has sailed. We don't know what went on behind the scenes, but unless he ate one of Cortese's children this has gone on too long. Whatever it was, he has been punished by life in the stiffs and should have been let go in the summer. None of this has done anyone any good. If this is Puncheon on twitter, he should be careful because he's still a Saints player.

I understand Punchy was told by his agent to lurk near Rangers ground on the final transfer day "just in case". He was spotted and Cortese informed. As QPR could be accused of "tapping up" Punchless through an unofficial approach the loan fee was promptly upped. Punchbowl and Warnock have confirmed this publicly. Took some nerve from Cortese though, we could of ended up stuck with the little bugger.

I really don't want to do the Puncheon debate again, but I broadly agree with Fran and others. It's a shame that it didn't work out because he is a very good player.

I think he can be a good player when he wants to be, but that's not the sort of player we want here.
