I did mean to mate. Am still bloody watching Dances with wolves. It started in 1990 . Such a long film.........
FYI Wulfrun was a woman...Anglo Saxon women had rights that were lost after the Normans took over. Saints win 1-2
yeah but she was a Tory voter, had loads of inherited land, her dad was Edmund Blackadder and her cash was stashed away on the isle of Wight
There’s no stash of cash on IOW, it’s a ghetto! Unless it’s down the back of someone’s sofa. No names, no packdrill.
Saturday 19th October 2019 WOL 15:00 SOU Referee: Peter Bankes. Assistants: Ian Hussin, Peter Kirkup. Fourth official: Jeremy Simpson. VAR: Kevin Friend. Assistant VAR: Adrian Holmes. Peter Bankes http://www.football-lineups.com/referee/2330/
Only his 2nd ever PL game. I like how they use the small teams to try out the tyro refs (the other was Leicester v Bournemouth). No chance of him getting the Liverpool v Man U game I guess. Mind you there's always Kevin Friend to argue for newbies getting the gig. Looks like Peter likes to issue a card or two, 27 yellows in 6 games so far this season. Last season he reffed a game with 12 yellows and two games with 8.
Sounds like a guy you’d want in charge of a home game - I reckon a higher % of his bookings have been for the away teams? Do you know IOAG?
McCarthy Vallery bednarek Yoshida bert Romeu Hojbjerg Djenepo jwp redmond Ings Full of pessimism. That said I think we will nick a scrappy 1-0 win to give us hope before our annual mid season slump.
You are right, slightly more away bookings than home. The game with 12 bookings from last season (Brentford v Forest ) was 5-7, no reds. https://www.soccerbase.com/referees/referee.sd?referee_id=1668
Also on Saturday Everton v west ham Spurs v Watford Bournemouth v Norwich We have every chance of staying out of the bottom 3. It will be a huge boost though to win the game and move clear. We all want free flowing entertaining football but every now and then a solid, last on MOTD, clumsy winner, riding our luck type game will do just fine. For me a Che Adams scuffed 91st minute goal that takes VAR 4 minutes to review and confirm would make me very happy
For me (if Dejenpo not fit) McCarthy Valery-Bedders-Yoshie-Bertie JWP-Romeu-PEH Boufal - Redders Ings The Midlands Massive will be there!
So, we know that our ramble is going to be the same 9-10 players, hopefully with Moussa back. But has anyone heard the state of Wolves squad? Surely most of their players were off round the world playing for their countries, surely they have some knocks to contend with? Grasping at straws bigtime
