HANDY PARKING - PRIDE PARK 1/1/19

I hope that this may be helpful to any Boro fans travelling to Derby by road for the game on 1st January, parking is available for away fans on 2 sites [100 and 400 yards from the stadium at £6 per car/van [sorry no coaches].

Presuming most supporters will eventually travel via the M1, to avoid likely delays and congestion I would advise that you exit the M1 at Jct25 and travel towards Derby on the A52, about 1 mile past the SPONDON/ASDA exit is the slip road to PRIDE PARK, at the moment there are lane closures on this stretch of road but they were expected to be lifted by the 21st April but weren't [I will update on the situation].

Take care at the Pride Park slip road as there is a pedestrian crossing immediately after the sharp bend, go past the North end of the stadium to the 3rd island and turn right into RIVERSIDE ROAD, approximately 60 yards on the right is the FRENGER SYSTEMS car park, this is handier for the elderly and less able supporters.

For those who may wish to eat/drink before the game, continue along Riverside Road to the last unit on the left hand side, the PRIDE VETERINARY CENTRE car park is handier for the away friendly hostelries [ask one of the attendants for details].#

After the match I would advise that you turn left when leaving this car park and then left again and go round the block and back towards the stadium, if you turn right make sure you have a book to read as you will experience considerable congestion. Go to the first island that you experienced on entry and turn right and go along the back of the retail units to access the A52 Northbound.

I hope this helps, have a safe journey. <ok>

In general the details are the same for the game on New Year's Day, there are still some lane restrictions on the A52and there is a 40mph limit with speed cameras in operation.

    I hope this helps.

Apparently the lane closures on the A52 near the entrance to Pride Park will still apply tomorrow, allow a little more time as there could be delays leading up to match time.

Re: 2nd November 2019 match at Pride Park.

Unfortunately the roadworks on the A52 in the vicinity of Pride Park continue, the good news is that the entry slip road from the A52 has now re-opened but there are restricted lanes heading towards the stadium and after the match you should prepare for a longer departure from Pride Park due to these restrictions. The FRENGER SYSTEMS and PRIDE VETERINARY PRACTICE car parks will be open to away supporters and the parking charge will be the same at £6 per car/van.
If you have any queries regarding the above please make them known and I will try to help wherever I can, have a safe journey.
