Good call on that It's the midfield I've wanted to see since they were signed. Three big midfield buys. Due to injuries, match fitness or poor form, haven't seen it so far. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it works as on paper, it's got a nice balance. Fab to sit and mob up (he's got a killer pass on him too) Keita to control more and link play, Ox to drive forward and support the attack. 0-3 I reckon.
That's the creative midfield some want so let's see how they do, it's a slight worry defensively so Fabinho could be busy.
Why does Lovren slow mid run and look towards the lino? Footballing, actually just any sport, 101, play to the whistle. Christ.
Reminds me of the story of a goalkeeper who whistled when an opposition striker was ready to shoot and the striker stopped as a result... ... Can't remember where that was
The annoying thing about Lovren is that, Spurs aside, he's usually ok-ish in the big games, but it's these type of games where he seems to be a real liability.
Google gave me an update alert that Genk scored (I'm at work, not watching only following live text)... ... I see no evidence that they actually scored, looks an error, but made me spill my coffee
We've got a lot of the ball but are playing quite poorly really. Genk calving right though us and look quite dangerous.
This is unfortunately what we should expect when Keita, AOC and Lovren are in the same team. The space being left by Keita and AOC going forward is being exploited and they've got in behind Lovren pretty easily.
