EFC playing well up the pitch. Should leave space behind but PAFC's back 3 are being pressurised and have fallen back on hoofing it at the forwards, which isn't working.

I'm finding it hard to be enthused today with this game. Weather crap and am surprised the thing wasn't at least in doubt. 1pm is not a kick off time on a Saturday is it. At least there is another 45 minutes to put things right if this is to be our day.

Oh...just got in to find it's only H/T....I thought I saw it down as a 12pm kick-off....so 1-0 down from a late penalty before the break.....all to play for still.

How did he get it wrong? He's already changed from 3:1:4:2 to 3:5:2 to accommodate the players he's got. He's abandoned the to 70% possession objective,

He's also quite right to say that this is just another game as it's 3 points at stake the same as the rest. Some think there's the magical "110%" to be had on derby days but if that was the case, then he (and every other manager worth his salt) is just going to say "why didn't you do that before, I now want that 110% every week, that's the new 100% norm".

Perhaps the players have let themselves down today, but actually I think this is about where we are. We can beat poor and middling teams and won't go down but aren't yet good enough to be sure of beating the good ones and therefore aren't able to think about automatic promotion or maybe even the play-offs. We have to do some business in the January transfer window and maybe then we can push on. It's too early to judge: maybe if we aren't rearing up tress 12 months from now, there will be a case to answer.

Because he didn't treat it as a derby....Exeter were up for it....Argyle weren't up for anything....some dire remarks on pasoti by those that witnessed it....no fight....seemed to be second best for every ball.....you've got to go back to the 1920's since Exeter beat Argyle at home like that.....so said on final score on the BBC.

Just another match and three point so we're told....cobblers seems to come to mind.

It may have been very bad, I'm not disputing that, but I just don't get the idea that we play at 90% every week and then magically find another 10% against Exeter. That's what "treating it as a derby" implies.

It's got to be 100% every week, nothing else is good enough. By definition, that means there is no more.

Just listened to the goals etc on GoS....phew... not much joy to take out of that result.....defence at sixes and sevens by listening to the commentary just no organization.

Is Aimson carrying an injury ?.... didn't come on when it was demanding that it needed tightening up at the back.....I was under the impression that Aimson was Lowe's top defender....if so why are we playing defenders that let us down so badly last season....they're not doing much better in a lower league.

Just ripped apart by a team that wanted it more....an Exeter that had lost two games on the trot....and we had just won two on the trot....with a six nil goal difference as well.

Cold comfort.....my local team beat Halifax 5-0 and are now top of the National League and could be playing Argyle next season if they keep it up.....Argyle could well be playing in Div 2 still next season.

Just another game so move on. No matter who it is we played it is for just 3 points. The embarrassment is not who we played but the score at the end and the performance of the team.

Again would have been happy with a point but not hammered. Sure it was another game Mr. Lowe but you give 100% right! Obviously Sawyer never pep the players up as he certainly knows the importance!
Ended up down the bars for a few then thought get a chicken curry for a treat which ended up bland and tasteless....just summed up the day really!

Trouble is the next home game will probably struggle to get 7.5K attendance.
