Believe the 3 players picked in the squad on this tour qualified as their grandmothers were born in the UK. Also I know you like to be accurate in your posts --only 2 of these played in the GB Lions team beaten by Tonga yesterday. Finally have missed you during your absence. Have you been ill or just taking a break from the forum?
He has grown into an incredible captain, leader, and player. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sportsman with more focus and will to win than he has. To play most of that game with one functional leg and still put in a top performance just shows his elite mentality.
The Springboks played a boring game of rugby, aided & abetted by the Wales team. Hope England get off to a flying start to tempt them into being more expansive.
Wonderful performance by England, if they can replicate that in the final they will take some beating, everyone played their part, but Underhill was immense. I'm not sure whether they would have been better playing SA or Wales in the final, but Wales may well have been really up for it against England, so maybe on balance SA is the best one.
