And my point is things have changed in society and other clubs have done similar things! Yes?
High medium and low rate dla or pip ? All of them? It’s not straight forward

Because they will earn more brownie points doing it separately in the future.

They’re standard size, similar to an average allotment.

Facts - prior to 2012 a disabled concession was 50% with no free carer - Allams changed this to 100% for disabled with a free care - I think that's better but others may see things differently

Reintroducing exactly what we had in 2011/12, as they did with all other categories, would be completely straight forward.

Shurrup. You ever been on an allotment or a disabled enclosure at the KC?

The last time I paid my allotment bill, it was £24 for the whole year <laugh>

That's great, Spoons. I only ever want people to do what they want to do.

    Huh?
Fairly sure it’s obvious what I want.
    I want disabled concessions reinstated.
I’ve no interest in what other clubs do by the way, but our club used to have them and I’d like our club to revert to having them again.

My view is admittedly affected by the fact that I despise our owners.

however for me it’s just a shame they didn’t use this to resolve one of their lies. They said we were moving back to earlier price structure last time...but it was a lie as they didn’t go back to the disabled concessions.

I said it was a big step forward, and it is. I simply said I’d prefer disabled concessions.

I looked into the subject of concessions for disabled supporters and the guidelines issued by Level Playing Field (LPF) when the membership scheme came in.
LPF state that concessions should only be given when the standards or access provided is below what able bodied supporters get.
Whilst I personally would welcome a reduced rate, in reality it isn’t going to happen as long as LPF say that the club operates within its guidelines. This may be seen as a convenient peg to hang a coat on, but the supporters committee includes a representative from Electric Eels, the Power Chair Football Club.
The disabled are not only those you see in wheelchairs, throughout the stands there are many supporters attending with their carers.
It isn’t just a cost issue and it certainly isn’t just about supporters in wheelchairs.

My wife's is in a wheelchair with a long term illness, she dosnt go much but I have taken her and been the carer got two tickets for the price of one (free carer) so surely that's the equivalent of two half price tickets which I was happy with. Was i wrong to look at it like that?. Are others looking at it in a different way to me. May be a disabled person wanting to go with a carer who isn't interested in football. Like I say in my case I was happy with two for one.

I’ve not mentioned AP and if I don’t care what other football clubs do I’m hardly likely to care about what a British Bulldogs, or whatever they are, team do am I.

There are two issues getting confused here.

People in wheelchairs can have a carer come with them. At City the wheelchair user pays full whack, the carer gets in for free. That’s similar to most Championship clubs (though some offer a discount as well as a free carer ticket).

The issue at City relates to ambulant disabled people, who used to get a discount on proof of disability but since 2012 don’t. I’m not aware of any club at championship level that offers such a discount **[edit - to away fans]** any more - which of course doesn’t make it alright, but it is a fact.

It would go some way to putting some wrongs right if we could lead the way on something?
