This is a massive issue. Not just for this game if these two or others have niggly injuries, we are going to have a dip in our performance. You simply cannot lose world class players and replace them with not world class players in those positions.
I hope you disagree However, it’s not this game alone I am concerned about. We need to be active this coming transfer market.
It's difficult to see how we can improve, Origi will come in for Mo and it'll probably be Mane Bobby Origi Which isn't bad. The full backs are the real issue but who's going to come and sit on our bench all season? So come Jan who could we get that improves us?
No Salah, no Robbo... we'll have to play the team that beat Barcelona 4-0 except Bobby in for Shaq #injurycrisis
We should have bern playing a youngster who is traditionally a LB even for five minitues occasionally. Milner cannot run again, he will not be able to cope with the pace of Saha.
Milner will play in place of Robbo, we should cope but I do expect him to be got at so VvD will be busy. As for Salah, for this game it’s a bigger loss. We saw how we played earlier on this season without him....I hope that Klopp doesn’t pull Mane over to the right like he did previously, the whole balance of the team was affected.....just replace Salah with Origi.
This will be a game for a few goals from outside the box to keep teams thinking we have variety in our attack.
With two world class players injured, I’m feeling nervous about this game. Salah, even when not firing on all cylinders, occupies defenders minds and makes space in the middle. Robbo creates width on the left and stretches defences. CP will defend deep and make us break them down. I would definitely start Ox in this game tbh as we need his drives and shots from outside of the box.
