Who are these 10 players supposed to be our for Saturday ? The injury situation is becoming absurd ...again.
As you know from your privileged position as Deputy Moderator, DP has temporarily left this forum. (please don’t disclose any further management secrets to the rank & file)
No Pratley (suspended) or Field (injured) to play the holding role in midfield tomorrow. It looks like either Lapslie or Morgan or maybe both will start the game. We are very thin up front as well.
I’m assuming Kayal will start deep, Cullen & Gallagher in the middle and Oztumer at the front of the diamond
If Naby is in the side, we will concede goals. If we concede, we aren't going to win. A 1-2 defeat is the best outcome I can see if Sarr plays.
I genuinely thought we would overcome our Millwall hoodoo the other week, and conceding in the 90th minute is a real kick in the gonads. I would imagine this time it is Cardiff who will end their run of failing to win away, not because we lack heart, but we are running out of players, To be honest, we need a bit more tan a draw this time, as our wins are getting very sporadic, but I think 2-0 to the Bluebirds this weekend. Anyone know if the other Brighton guy (Hemed?) is available?
I would like Lee Bowyer to address the underlying issue of WHY we are getting so many injuries again. Are we just unlucky? Is the medical Dept not up to it? Are we signing cheap players with dubious fitness records? It’s probably a combination of all three...but it’s bad news.
Bowyer saying he can't fill the bench because it wouldn't be fair on untried youngsters- methinks this is aimed at Douchatelet. Any aspiring youngster would jump at the chance, and would probably benefit from it, even if they didn't play.
