Good Morning. It's Tuesday 26th November, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

    Pre Match Press Conference

During Bielsa's pre match press conference yesterday, the Argentine revealed that Eddie Nketiah was due to resume first team training later this week but according to Leeds pundit Noel Whelan, he believes that the on loan Gunner is still a couple of weeks away from returning to the first team squad

“The problem is worse than what Leeds have said,” “From what I hear, he is not going to be back soon, it’s going to be a couple of weeks.

“It’s worse than what we were told by the club. They won’t be rushing him out, they will take it slowly.

“To lose Eddie Nketiah for so long is a huge blow, as there’s no centre-forward cover. We’ve got no back-up to Patrick Bamford. What if he gets injured?

D-Day looms for Casilla at Leeds submit new evidence

Leeds have submitted all their evidence to the FA in relation to Casilla’s disciplinary case relating to racist language towards Jonathan Leko.

The West Brom on loan forward claims that 33yo Casila racially abused him during the Charlton - Leeds game back in September.

If the 33yo is found guilty, he faces a minimum ban of 6 games, and depending on the severity, anything up to 12 games.

However, Leeds sources claim that new evidence submitted to the governing body, backs up the former Real Madrid shot stopper.

How much of a blow would it be, even if Casilla was banned for the minimum period (6 games).

The Spaniard has conceded just nine goals from 16 league matches this season, four less than his closest rivals.

    Return of the Shack

Jamie Shackleton returned to action last night, completing 45 minutes for the U23's against Bolton.

The 20yo midfielder has been out of action for over a month with a quad injury.

Two second half goals from Stevens and Edmondson settled the tie, with the Whites climbing to 5th in the table, still with games in hand.

It would be a massive blow if Kiko is banned for X amount of games, one of the first names on the team sheet imo, best keeper we've had in many years

    Pleased for Shacks

Morning all. Hope Casilla is cleared for various reasons. We don’t have much cover if we were to lose him for 12 games. On a personal note he doesn’t need this hanging over his career at his age and needs to clear his name

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

the 2 Fast Eddie positions are not really different. Bielsa says Eddy returns to training on Thursday and Whelan says 2 weeks before hes back, well how about it will take Eddy a couple of weeks to get his fitness back up which means he will be back on the team sheet soon

late last night I posted on yesterdays breakfast thread about the Under 17 world cup and the number of clubs from around the world who have sent scouts to Brazil. The Uk have 14 clubs sending scouts with 13 from the Prem and Leeds Utd

    Hi all,

My first post, I have to ask about Kiko and Leko. One speaks Spanish and the other French. Unless Kiko used the "N" word (which I can't imagine he did) I am left wondering what Leko thinks he heard? Unless there is a witness then surely it's a case of Kiko's word against Leko's?

welcome Dude, yes been a lot of talk about this and one theory is that Kiko was bollocking his defenders by saying keep an eye on the negro? Nothing wrong with that. The main issue is that the FA have a way of adjudicating which goes against basic human rights. There does not need to be proof so forget innocent until proven guilty which is a human right, the FA have decided that they will use balance probability which is a joke kangaroo court. There are no witnesses so how do decide? Well it seems they make an assumption than one player ould say something racist...

think Kiko and the club have compiled a huge list of top players from around the world who will say Kiko would never say that. That should debunk the FA making assumptions

    we hope

Mark the black.. Mark the ginger one.... Mark the pineapple head..... Mark the short kid.... Mark the fat one... Whats the bloody difference i get called a brit or pommie. No way did kiko intend to use a racist instruction. I have read he was speaking to one of our players. This self centred whining racist blackman needs to grow up. He would not have lasted two minutes in the forces. He would have been sent home blubbering to mummy. What an absolute tosser he is. Mummy i heard him say black and now i need counselling.

    Morning all

Kiko has been in decent form, it would be hard losing him at any stage not alone the Christmas period.

Shackleton, Alioski, Douglas, Cooper and Pablo all fit again, that's great news, sad about Eddie but I have a feeling he wouldn't have played much if he were fit at the moment.

If Kiko is found innocent, then the Charlton player should get the 6 game ban.

YEP saying Eddie could be going back to Arsenal at Xmas and for 2 reasons. 1) recall clause been triggered because hes not played agreed number of minutes. 2) Leeds now actively looking for striker options who could be available. Maybe why the Vydra story has come back too
