Tom, can you have a word with your referee buddies... I’m going to Norwich game; I’d rather have Oliver for that one please.
Shameful....with the only mitigation being that he handed himself in. Hope the women don't allow this to affect their lives....sadly this will have happened to some degree to every woman on the planet.
I thought that .....I mean why? Just why? And with everyone having camara phones these days, did he think he could drive away without having his face or his van reg being photographed. Almost as though he wanted to be found out.
I guess the flippant answer is that white van drivers think they can get away with anything. Seriously though, I feel there is some truth in the suggestion that abhorrent sexual behaviour like this has become, in the mind of the offender, more "normal" as a result of the accessibility of online porn etc
Sex offenders are driven by their immediate desires...there is little thinking ahead or consideration of consequences. Otherwise none would reoffend after being caught and serving a sentence.
Had an email offering discounted memberships for both tiers. Bit early for that it seems, hopefully that means they haven't sold as many as they're hoping for.
Ralph has thanked the board for supporting him during a difficult period and not going on the 'sack the manager' route. We probably couldn't afford to sack another manager and the board will be aware that RH has been coping with a difficult situation at the club in the absence of a senior football man above him. The jury is still out on Ralph IMO, but he does deserve more time and support...especially as we don't need more upheaval and who would we get in anyway. Still a lot of this season left...hopefully we've turned a corner rather than entered a cul-de-sac.
