If Forest do buy Gayle how can they play Grabban and Gayle without leaving gaps in midfield? Nice to have though and on paper both are ahead of Bamford but neither do what Bamford does for the team so are really not Bielsa type players?
No chance of us signing Jarrod Bowen Hull fans telling me he was exceptional last night, playing a more central role now. Bowen was the one to go for in the summer especially after we sold Roofe. Bowen 12 goals & 4 assists (19 goals last season), will hit my requirement of 25 easily this season, can't say the same about our No.9 for all I appreciate his work rate Bamford 6 goals & 2 assists Hopefully our star CB will keep Bowen quiet in December
Ironic how three teams banged in four goals last night Surely we'll manage a blast of goals at least once this season
Bielsa has just said he is hoping to keep Eddie for the rest of the season and also wants him for next season too but dependent upon promotion. He says it will be great for Eddies development....
Why are Forest going to get Gayle ? he's playing in the Newcastle team so might not even be for sale.
Lol all this talk about lack of goals from corners, anyone would think it was a recent problem. (By the way have no idea if the facts below are anywhere near the truth, just found it amusing that someone was saying years back that we struggle with goals from corners )
So David Duckinfield found not Guilty after a 30yr campaign in victimpool about the Hillsborough Disaster. So the only person found guilty was on a lesser charge of H&S infringement. The 96 were classed as Illegally killed but by Who. Living in the NW will see my telly swamped with crying scouses and family members. It was tragic, a disaster but sick of hearing about it and the costs of all the judge led enquiries and court cases is astronomical and only one guy convicted and got a suspended fine
Big Jack scored quite a few goals at corners by standing at the near post, Eddie Gray placed the ball to an inch and Jack nodded it in at the top near corner of the goal.
Agree with you, not to strengthen will be a repeated error, I'm sure all the clubs that went up last year added to their teams in January where we ran out of puff / bottle. All managers of successful teams in the past (scum etc.) argue that it always best to strengthen from a position of strength.
But if he gets injured for any length of time, I'm not confident of Cooper / Berardi partnership getting us over the line.
