both teams in the play off final are being done for cheating FFP rules s and Norwich were on parachute payments only Sheff Utd were doing it fairly but spent money and we shouldn't have allowed them that walk in goal....

And? So long as they stay up they'll get away with it, circa Bournemouth.

Never become excited when we get a corner anymore, I struggle to drum up any excitement when we are awarded a penalty

Given the manager we have, the only possible successes would have to be players who have played for him before, IMHO.

Lots of blame to go around but I don't see the thousands of fans who went there without ticket and got into the ground accepting any responsibility.

Then we’re gambling in the latter stages of the season again because if we accept we didn’t lose nerve, we must have run out of gas. If we do
N’t add to the squad and do that again that would be completely stupid
No matter how great a coach Bielsa undoubtedly is.

An opening bid of 6 camels?

The final bid is more important than the first one.

That's because the Police opened the gates and let them in, thousands of Leeds without tickets at the Coventry semi final, and many many thousands at Bournemouth, but the difference being the police, didn't let them in.

Now it's been a long long time since this event happened, so my memory isn't great, but weren't there reports at the time of fans not only there without tickets but boozed up fans arriving late and so causing extra crushing. IMO not only do the authorities share some blame, the fans also should take some blame as well. Also it was a time when fences were still up and all seater stadiums weren't around. Maybe just a coincidence but Liverpool fans were involved in two of the worst football tragedies Heysel being the other.<ok>

My memory's probably no better than yours, but has it not been reported since that the police quickly tried to imply the fans were drunk in order to divert the blame ? Also the Sun printing stories the next day of fans pissing on their own fans who were being treated on the pitch, trying to blame it on the 'yob' element. All lies and frankly disgusting, no wonder the Sun is still boycotted up there. And I get the fact that the copper in charge ordered the gates to be opened which led to the tragedy, but who deemed that ground safe to hold such a match when there were clearly safety issues (Coventry v Leeds 1987 being the prime example) ? The blame doesn't lie with one person, sadly it looks like they've all got away with it.

I remember the front page of 'When Saturday Comes' after Hillsborough which pretty much summed up what would happen over the next 30 years.

Shako people still do and always have turned up late and drunk, as you know ;) same thing nearly happened twice before at the same end, Leeds v Coventry and I think Spurs v someone, I was in the same pen v Coventry and can remember not being able to breath, people did collapse and were passed over heads to the front, it was so close to being like Liverpool. <grr>
I also remember the same crush trying to get through a couple of turnstiles outside, and being in between two turnstiles yet not being able to get into them for ages, crushed in between, just the same as Liverpool. All them slagging off the scousers weren't in the middle pen v Coventry or they would think differently.

I appreciate that Chesh, I'm just saying that supporters should also IMO share some blame. I mean when will this end, what do the families want. Is there one person to blame or a collective to blame. I'm only asking the question Chesh, I'm not having a go either. I'm just discussing it because this forum is the place for debate. I've been to Hillsboro for a night game and we weren't let in straight away and there was a build up of supporters. But I think it's the way the ground is built and there are bottle necks leading to the turnstiles<ok>.

There was three pens, supporters naturally go for the nearest entrance, the police should have known better and made sure fans were spread out, that's why they were there, to do crowd control, they failed, if you get something wrong while driving and kill someone, you have to take the blame and go prison, and this is no different. IMO

But is it one policeman to blame or the whole lot or the lad in charge of them, what about the stewards at the gate. <ok>
