if he had two legs tonight we would destroyed them... he will be rested on sunday without a doubt... could end up losing him for ages otherwise
realistically we are looking at 4-6 weeks without max … hate to put dampener on things , but that is a real blow.
"The game has changed. This game now is completely different to what I experienced as a 16-year-old lad as an apprentice. This game in a heartbeat has changed. I don't know where it is going and it is sucking the life out of me and the supporters." - Wilder. Why do people like this man? Him and Dyche are such whining ****ing babies. Get with the times and tell ye ****in' players to keep playing until they hear the whistle. I cannot believe the controversy around VAR, I've found myself screaming at the TV before because players just ****ing stop in their tracks and expect a decision to go their way. All VAR has done is mean you can't simply watch the flag in the corner and instead have to listen for a whistle. What is so difficult and how is that sucking the soul out of sport? This season has been ****ing great so far! I found the game more soul destroying when cheaters prospered to be honest.
What Wilder should investigate is why Sheffield have a terrible home record, it's because they can't break down teams that have players defending in the box. It's been like that all season.
he's nowhere near mazes level sadly …. lacks belief in himself or something … he has pace and skill... I hope he can come good for us
Where do you get this information from? The only thing I can see is that he has an ankle/foot injury that is currently being assessed and he has a 50% chance of playing on Sunday. Oh and Cronemeister confirms that he has an injury that only shows when he walks - as we don't want him to do that it shouldn't be an issue.
it is not fine when he runs or turns on or off the ball! he was at 50% yesterday and it will be suicide to risk his long term fitness. I could tell from minute 1 he had an issue last night that. he could not run without pain. I suggest people learn to watch players properly because to say he didn't have the problem when he runs is was clearly inaccurate and ridiculous . he has a mild sprain so , minimum 14 days and usually 4 to 6 weeks to fully recover. he couldn't walk after the game when it tightened up. he will 100% need a few weeks rest and it would be unwise to not allow that or we could lose him for a long long time. credit to him he still did very well btw I think he's a top player and will go on to a big club within 2 seasons tops.
Always amazes me how much like an "ASM light" he look's! In regards to the complaints yesterday from ShefU manager - I understand where he is coming from but at the end of the day it was the CORRECT call. If we'd gone on and drew 1-1 after that because of an awful call I'd have been livid! I thought as I watched in AC was well onside and the replays showed he was, one side was not going to be happy with the call which ever way it went. I'd also say that they didn't look like scoring if we had continued playing into this morning - think McBirdie had a few chances but he is a SPL/Championship striker, and apart from that our defense and Dubravka were obviously desperate for the clean sheet bonus for Xmas Shopping and weren't going to be beaten.
