Personally I'd leave Mo out again. He's had this niggling injury ever since the Choudhury "tackle" and I think this has taken the edge off his game. One of the reasons our scoring rate has dipped, imo. The derby has shown that we have more options than we might have realised - though Everton's defence was admittedly very poor - so I'd be prepared to let him have a little longer to recover.
Klopp switched to a 4231 against Everton and it is not a surprise Origi looked good as that was the formation that got the best out of him in his early games before the ankle injury. It is the same formation that got the best out of Shaq and as soon as we switched back to a 433, he disappeared. Last season we went through December using the same formation as it allows for rotations without weakening the squad significantly. I suspect Klopp will use 4231 until Fabinho is back. With that in mind, we can rest Salah again and use him for the CL game where his ankle would have gotten more time to heal.
Do you know I am sick to death of hearing how we haven’t had injuries On three occasions I have heard pundits in last few weeks claim that Matip has bee left out (last one was parlour on talkSPORT) I finally called out my Manc supporting boss yesterday as he said we will see how we do when we get injuries I then pointed out the injury list we have had this season His response... Alright but that’s not VVD is it ? So basically what people are waiting for is to see how we do without VVD - so it’s not injuries is it
