For those who are interested - the MTV Unplugged gig that Liam Gallagher did in Hull last month is on tv tonight. It's at 9pm on MTV, though it will be replayed at I think 11.45 on Channel 5.
I'm struggling with it honestly. A lot of the songs off of it sounded better at the Unplugged gig. It's still decent, but the acoustic versions from this gig are just infinitely better. I think As You Were is still a better record.
Went to see the recording of a radio play with Maxine Peake in it last night at Middleton Hall. The Mother. Very interesting, comrades
Thanks for posting Quill, great concert. City Hall looked and sounded great and those organ pipes as a backdrop looked superb.
They've cut a lot out of that vid, the whole gig was about 2 hours. Definitely turned the crowd right down as well, they were at least twice as loud as that for most of the show.

I was there just last week. On an unrelated note, does anyone know when where to find spare parts for a DeLorean?

Yes, just got back. Very good. First time I’ve been to the Bonus Arena. It exceeded my expectations, despite the low capacity it was surprisingly good.
It is a great arena, shame about the capacity as you say, would like it to get some larger acts in it. Personally hope someone like Idles comes and plays there. Unlikely, but almost perfect for that sort of artist.
