    Did you know that there's a 2 mile pipe under the City of Bruges ??
    It transfers the beer from the Brewery to the Bottling factory !.

    Yes, pretty sure somebody said that on here the other week. Speaking about pipes etc, the reason the pound/dollar currency exchange rate is called the "cable" is because there is a cable that runs the length of the Atlantic that used to be the quickest way of knowing the exchange rate. Doubt they use it anymore.

    I watched a program a couple if years ago showing how they repair them

    Yes they didn't mention currency exchange .
    I never realised that there was cables runni g right across the Atlantic! Until I watched it.
    And various other places in the world .
