Best performance in 3 years. To a man stood tall and defended brilliantly. I've criticised Jack Stephens a lot but he was immense today. 2 absolutely quality goals.
What a ridiculously different side we are away ftom home. I presume we cannot find the right balance of defend-attack at home when the emphasis is on us to take the initiative rather than counter
Outstanding. Had a goal nicked off his toe by an amazing clearance which was a crying shame but a 10/10 display.
I'm heading off for some stuffing and a pig in a blanket. Quote from BBC website What he does in the privacy of his home is his own business
Probably he same people who felt Rohl was the real influence. Never bought into that theory and clearly someone has been doing some good work on the defence. Not just the blocking but the way they tackle with purpose in midfield.
21 points from the first half of the season, that rate would comfortably be enough to stay up you imagine.
I'm not actually going to give Ralph massive credit for this - although as I alluded to after the Villa game, I am so much happier with our tactics now. So thank you Ralph for that. I haven't been blaming Ralph during the poor times, I've been blaming the players. Ralph has been doing little wrong. So it's only right that I now credit those players. Over the course of these two matches, PEH, Stephens and Redmond have been unrecognisable from the players we've seen beforehand.
