bowen will be at a far better team within 6 months
he's carried this team for a few seasons
    and whats impressive is
his stats have increased each season
and idiots on here are discussing his personal life, this really is a small club aint it, he's long gone
hull really is the backseat to nowhere
the worst geographical position in the country
hull is the redneck part of the uk imho

many prem teams will bid for him
    pretty cheap
under 10m and it's a bargain for each team

Yeah? So why is it that so many southerners appear to be moving here?

I know people who grew up in London but live here now, and would no way entertain the idea of moving back south. They love it here.

    Shows how thick geordies are.

One scout is enough for most clubs.

Utter bullshit. Stop using the city as an excuse for your utter **** up of a life!!

Hull is great, not the biggest of cities but I see that as a positive. 1000’s of successful people were born & educated here........ so what’s your excuse??

Plenty of people come here to make it their home and develop their career.

Many of them because their own area offers little or no prospects.

As has been stated recently on the city of culture thread, people do move away...but usually come back realising they undervalued the benefits of living in in Hull and surrounding areas.

We have an issue with a stratum of overweight non aspirational folk who typically watch their favourite Top 5 club on Sky Sports but often identify with a local rugby club. This is the sort of confused thinking and poor lifestyle choice which you may be referring to, but other cities have similar challenges, so no need to wring your hands too much about it.

This is a fine city full of fine people.

To simplify. other more affluent cities are available but are inferior in terms of citizen.
